Joshua Millais is a special, multi-talented entrepreneur and musician with a passion for singing. He is the Director of our venue at the Angel in Islington where he organises the courses, liases with facilitators, the venue, and the press and leads the singing courses.
His background in both the personal development field and music and singing makes him well qualified to lead our unique supportive and personalized approach to learning to sing and singing in choirs. He is wonderful at providing an atmosphere of trust, learning and encouragement for his clients.
Joshua first picked up the guitar at the age of eleven and never looked back. He has had many years experience as a singer-songwriter with his band The Mortals playing leading venues and also works as a session singer both live and in the studio. These days his style and range varies from popular to choral music and he is good at making pop and rock choir arrangemnts of well known songs. He has performed everywhere from clubs, to hotels, to concerts, to corporate events and private parties. He currently runs a covers function band and has his finger on the pulse musically. Joshus knows how to draw out the best in people.
