Joshua Millais

Joshua Millais is a special, multi-talented entrepreneur and musician with a passion for singing. He is the Director of our venue at the Angel in Islington where he organises the courses, liases with facilitators, the venue, and the press and leads the singing courses.

His background in both the personal development field and music and singing makes him the ideal complement to our COURAGE TO SING team. He is wonderful at providing an atmosphere of trust, learning and encouragement for his clients.

Joshua first picked up the guitar at the age of eleven and never looked back. He has had many years experience as a singer-songwriter with his band The Mortals playing leading venues and also works as a session singer both live and in the studio. These days his style and range varies from popular to choral music. He has performed everywhere from clubs, to hotels, to concerts, to corporate events and private parties. He currently runs a covers function band. He has his finger on the pulse musically and knows how to draw out the best in people.

He has extensive experience in the Healing Arts having completed training in 'A Course in Miracles' 'Loving Relationships Training' and Rebirthing. This enables him to bring a special sensitivity to his work with THE COURAGE TO SING as he fully understands the emotional content involved in learning. He is constantly working on his own personal growth and self-development participating in group process and emotional recovery work.
