The Self-Tuition CD

For those people who want to practice singing at home we have prepared a Self-Tuition CD of singing exercises, relaxation and breathing exercises. The manual describes the exercises and gives tips on singing and how to practice. There are 20 minutes of breathing exercises and 20 minutes of singing exercises done at the piano progressing from easy to more difficult exercises.

Regular use of these exercises (once a day is suggested) is invaluable and will lead to a significant improvement of flexibility, range and general power in the voice.

A Pamphlet on Breathing

This booklet provides a thoroughly comprehensive overview of breathing for singing, for relaxation and for centering. The exercises are extremely helpful with voice development and also for dealing with nerves and general fear about singing. This pamphlet is strongly recommended for all COURAGE TO SING course participants.

A Pamphlet on Vocal Training

This booklet takes you through the basics of vocal training explaining how to do the exercises on the CD and how to develop your voice with practise. It is an invaluable tool if you are learning to do voice training exercises.

The Songs of the Earth CD

This is a CD of songs that we often use in our courses and concerts. The songs are specially chosen as easy to learn and fun to sing with lots of rounds and good ideas for singing with others. It was recorded live at Lancing Chapel near Brighton by COURAGE TO SING trainers and professional singer friends. It contains sixteen beautiful songs sung accapella with an abundance of harmonies and ideas.
